Ventricle Health's corporate mission is to empower its patients with seamless access to high quality cardiac care, enabling them to lead healthier, happier and longer lives. We exist to meet our patients wherever they may be with virtual, evidence-based therapy, remote patient monitoring and patient education and advocacy.
Who we are
Ventricle Health was founded in 2021 by top heart failure cardiologist, Dr. Dan Bensimhon. Our vision is to build the most proactive, engaging and impactful provider network for cardiac care in the U.S.
Sean O'Donnell serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Ventricle Health. Sean brings with him three decades of broad health care industry experience including leadership roles in health policy, life-sciences marketing, retail health services, value-based care delivery and digital health solutions. Most recently, he was the Senior Vice President of Platform and Ecosystem Partnerships for Accolade. Sean's prior career was marked with launching new companies and businesses. He was an early member of the founding team that launched Evolent Health and previously was the Head of Product and Marketing for Provider Solutions at Aetna. He was founder, President and COO of Consumer Health Services' retail-based physician care clinics in Duane Reade and Rite Aid pharmacies. Before these executive roles in health services, Sean held a variety of marketing roles in cardiovascular life sciences organizations for Medtronic and Novartis.
Today, he presently lives outside of Washington DC and when not playing rugby, sneaks away at least twice a month with his wife and family to hike in the Shenandoah Valley.
